Gulf Cryo has acquired Al Wid, an oxygen filling station based in Oman. Although Oman is a very small market compared to other areas of the Middle East, such as the UAE which is a mature market and extremely competitive, Oman is expected to grow its industrial base providing more opportunities for Gulf Cryo. In particular, this acquisition will help Gulf Cryo load its new ASU in Abu Dhabi with nitrogen volumes. Robinson Leiva will be the general manager for Oman supported by Suhail Muhktar who is heading up the integration.
Gulf Cryo’s aim is to regulate the manufacture and marketing of its industrial gas businesses in the Oman Sultanate. The company has invested heavily in ensuring high standards within its production facilities, storage, distribution, and industrial gas filling.
